Governor Brown:

I moved to this neighborhood almost twenty-five years ago.

Back then, I worked as an advocate for families. My job – my passion – was standing up for kids.

As your Governor, I’m still fighting for children.

We made a historic in education, seven billion dollars to prevent teacher layoffs and keep class sizes down.

Now, I’m committed to raising our graduation rate.

Because every child deserves an opportunity to thrive.
