Governor Brown Shares Her Story in First Television Ad

Portland, OR -- Governor Kate Brown today released the first television ad of her campaign. Standing with her spouse, Dan Little, in front of their longtime Portland home, Governor Brown shares the story of her beginnings as a family advocate, as a legislatorstanding up for Oregon's children and work as governor to invest in our education system.
"We made a historic investment in education, seven billion dollars to prevent teacher layoffs and keep class sizes down," Governor Brown says in the ad. "Now, I’m committed to raising our graduation rate, because every child deserves an opportunity to thrive."
The ad will air across the state, in the Bend, Eugene, Medford and Portland media markets beginning Thursday September 15.
