Momentum growing for Kate Brown as Election Day nears

The Independent Party of Oregon’s nominee for governor, Patrick Starnes, generated wall-to-wall news coverage yesterday when he announced that he is suspending his campaign and will urge voters to vote for Governor Kate Brown. The endorsement is adding even more momentum for Kate Brown’s campaign as Election Day nears.

Yesterday Emerson College released a poll showing that Governor Brown has a 5-point lead in the race. This is the third public poll showing a clear and steady lead for Governor Brown.
