Biggest volunteer canvass in Oregon history is making sure that every vote counts this midterm election

Over one thousand Oregonians volunteered their time today in support of Governor Kate Brown and in opposition to Ballot Measures 103, 104, 105, and 106.

In Southeast Portland alone, over 700 volunteers came to SEIU 503 before heading out to knock on doors or make phone calls, making today one of the biggest volunteer canvasses in Oregon history. Governor Brown, Senator Ron Wyden, Senator Jeff Merkley and Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici all stopped by to thank people for their efforts to get out the vote.

Volunteers were also out in huge numbers in across the state including in Washington County, Clackamas County and Lane County. Last weekend, volunteers supporting Governor Kate Brown knocked on more than 100,000 doors statewide. This week, that number will climb even higher.
